This knife was designed to make shorter work of skinning large animals such as deer, elk, moose, caribou, etc. Like the elk knife, it works extremely well especially for skinning hanging animals. This knife is not for everyone but those with the skill to use it properly, it works extremely well. The blade is 5/32" and makes a very rugged knife.
